South-South dialogues
The Zero Hunger Coalition strongly believes in the opportunity of mutual knowledge sharing and good practice exchanges between countries transforming their food systems. This is the goal of the ‘South-South’ dialogues.
The South-South dialogues facilitate the exchange of experiences and lessons learned between countries that may share similar challenges and opportunities in transforming their food systems.
Specifically, these dialogues:
Promote mutual learning and inspiration
Establish a constructive dialogue
Explore methodologies and strategies to operationalise national food systems roadmaps
Identify success factors and obstacles in food systems transformation
Capitalise shared opportunities and accelerate progress to achieve the SDGs
Within this framework, the Zero Hunger Coalition has established an online collaborative platform for the national food systems transformation task forces of Madagascar, Benin and DRC. Exchanges take place through quarterly virtual meetings on specific themes decided by the participating countries.
