Supporting Parliamentary Leadership
The African Food Systems Parliamentary Network (AFSPaN) is a champion of agrifood systems transformation in Africa.
As legislators, custodians of national budgets, controllers of executive action, and representatives of their constituencies, parliamentarians can help advance food systems transformation.
They have a key role in informing and mobilizing stakeholders, providing enabling environments through law, ensuring that national public spending aligns with long-term investment plans, and strengthening accountability throughout these processes.
The Zero Hunger Coalition is pleased to count the AFSPaN as one of its leading supporters. Together, we have engaged in numerous activities together.
